The #1 mistake people make when trying to do organic marketing is they skip the warm up phase, or they use an old account with bad history (watching vids or posting vids in a completely irrelevant niche). The easiest way to avoid 0 view jail on both tiktok and instagram is to warmup a NEW account for 7 days. Warming up means NO POSTING, but just using the account like a human who is interested in the content they are watching.
The algorithm needs to understand your niche before you post. What you engage with is the first audience the algorithm will show your content to. Skipping this step also often flags your account as a bot, and you will get 0-100 max views on your first posts. A new user doesnt create an account and instanly post, they watch content and engage with it, only a small % post, so new accounts spamming out bots are flagged as spam.
7 days seems to be the safest amount of time to warmup a new account. You can do just 3 days of warmup, but I would recommend 7 days to be safe. Everytime i do 3 days of warmup it sometimes is enough, but sometimes i need to stop posting again and resume warmup for another few days. Just be patient and keep warmup going for 7 days. Then you can post and get views. Once you warmup an account you can post as much as you want, and the algorithm will show your content to the right people (mostly, for Instagram this seems to be more true thank tiktok. Tiktok takes longer to trust you are a real user).
Sidenote for when you begin posting: Make sure you are posting through the mobile apps, not the web or an API (like post bridge) for the first 10 or so posts. The algorithm needs to see you are a real user, not a bot, after you get consistent views you can post through the web or an API.
Only scroll content related to your app/niche. The algorithm is watching what you engage with.
Follow accounts, actually watch the videos relevant to your niche, like posts, leave real comments. Be human, not robotic.
Save videos with 100K+ views or 1k+ likes that you could recreate for your niche.
Do not post anything on a new account until after you've warmed it up by following the steps above for 7 days
